"Bannack Silence" by M. Scott Miller,Gouache, "22 X 28"
In December M. Scott Miller will be showcasing his Bannack Days work. Miller is the Illustrator for this famed ghost's town posters until 2016. Come see the two posters that he has created for the past two years events.
In October & November, M. Scott Miller showcases his newest gouache works.
In September, Clay Pape, a junior at the University of Montana showcase new works.
In August, Studio D showcase Melissa Banks. This show features four bone watercolor studies.
In July, Studio D will be closed to honor the 4th of July Holiday. Happy Holiday!
In June, Studio D showcases Clay Pape, A star at the University of Montana in his second year. This show features six new multimedia pieces from his class with Professor Kevin Bell.Tar, Glass and Concrete are the medium , Large and bold. These unique landscape inspired works are a must see. Come meet the artist this Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
In May, Studio D showcases Fish Fri. This show features two new artists, Daniel R. DeGrandpe and Brian Murphy.
Block Print: Artist Daniel R. DeGrandpe grew up in Helena, Montana and received his B.A. in Art Education from MSU in 1983 and his Masters in Print Making in 1997. He has a passion for teaching and currently teaches Visual Arts and Big Sky High School.
Pen and Ink Drawings: Brian Murphy, a Missoula native and Hellgate High School graduate, creates his drawing using pen and ink, which are then colored with a number of mixed media. Brian draws his inspiration from trips into high mountain lakes and streams, seeing the countryside for its grandeur and beauty.
